The first study visit, devoted to the issues of practical training in sensor and signal laboratories, took place in early December 2021 and was hosted by the University of Zielona Góra. The event was coordinated by prof. Ryszard Rybski. The event lasted 5 days and was attended by representatives of all academic partners.
The first day was devoted for first meetings of participants in groups and bilateral talks. On the second day, there was a meeting with the university and faculty authorities and a presentation of international cooperation of the university. In the afternoon, the participants visited the Renewable Energy Center located in the University Unit in Sulechów. The third day of the meeting was devoted to two main issues: preparation of the intellectual outputs by partners and visit in the laboratories of the Institute of Metrology, Electronics and Computer Science in which the O4 output is prepared. The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to see both the laboratories themselves and learn about the functionality of the solutions implemented as part of the project in a form of teaching tools for distance learning. The fourth day of the study visit was devoted to visits to the laboratories of the remaining two institutes of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Automation, namely the Institute of Automatic Control, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the Institute of Control and Information Systems. On the last day of the meeting, participants had the opportunity to work in groups and visit the university units of depending on their interests (due to the specificity of the issues they deal with). In addition to working meetings, during the visit, there were social meetings, sightseeing of Zielona Góra and its monuments and attractions, including the Palm House which towers over the city, where the participants had the pleasure of having a gala dinner.
